Sarah Zhao

I’m a software developer in love with untangling knots. I am currently a teaching fellow at the Fullstack Academy of Code NYC.

I have worked as a field engineer in the oil and gas industry for the past 3 years, and, while I loved the people I worked with, I knew that I wanted to use my math and science background to solve different issues. I took a path into development by taking Python courses on my own time at the beginning of 2017 during my 15-day rotations, and interviewed with Fullstack in May. The rest is history!

Aside from programming, I thrive off playing Ultimate Frisbee in any city in the world while reading new murder mysteries and eating pizza and noodles. On the occasion, I'll throw in a hike, with or without water.
